I saw the crazy pots at a home show I attended.
You take a shepard hook and cut the curved end off. Make the pole about 5 ft. high. You thread your pots on it. Start with a large clay pot, then a smaller one sits in the center of the bottom pot...the next one just balances on the edge of the previous one.......all the way up.
It makes a really cool display! I can't wait for my petunias to cascade down the sides of the pots more. I think it will be beautiful. Oh, the top of the pole I put a little plastic cap on it - just so it would not be rough to the touch.
