I hope that he ends up in the same situation the my current dog did. I got her off an ad in Craigslist about 3.5 years ago, as a matter of fact I got the link from this board. She was also a free dog and the lady who was giving her up was moving in with her son due to health issues. Her son's landlord would not allow pets under any circumstances. So far she's a very spoiled well loved dog and is helping me raise my new flat coated retriever puppy. I wouldn't trade her for anything. As I said I hope he winds up with same situation, I know that not all 'free to good home' dogs are so lucky.BigBrownDog said:He is a handsome boy. I hope he does not wind up in a bad situation - giving your dog away for free is such a bad idea.
