Ok...so will they get sick from eating the raw bones? I mean if they are not fed a raw diet. Also, it doesn't break apart so there wouldn't be no choking?? I would love to get Koko to chomp on one of those...she has bad teeth, despite dental cleanings and teeth brushings I can't get the tartar to stay away. She is not a toy/fake bone chewer. She loves the tennis ball. But I wonder if she would go for one of those? I have a butcher down the road. I might stop by there tomorrow. Just gotta keep the 1 yr old away...they share everything..and I mean EVERYTHING!!!
Marrow Bone Comas
I went to the butcher today and he sold me 6 nice size marrow bones for 4 bucks!!! I walked in and got semi-assaulted as they smelled the goodies in the bag. Forget putting them away for another day, they had to have one NOW!
Each Lab takes their bone and runs off to a different part of the house. Ruby does this celebratory strut before she goes off to hunker down with her bone.
After 2 hours of total peace and quiet, they are now in a marrow bone coma.... eyes rolled back, tongues hangin' out and unable to move let alone go out. Marrow bones must equate to doggy margaritas.

And the dogs don't break them? Just my luck we would end up at the ER vets!!!
