I took Lucky outside and brought the camera with me. She really enjoyed herself!

A nice hose down is good on a day like today. I'm glad to see her enjoying life. How is the recovery period going?

She's doing okay. The first week she did great! She used her leg like the doctor wanted her too, she got her stitches out on Thursday and ever since then she hasn't used her leg. I hope that just part of the recoup period. I'm going to call her vet in the morning and double check on it though, just to make me feel better if nothing else. She's been spending most of her time in her crate voluntarily. The door stays open for her, but she just comes out to eat, drink, and potty...and the occasional 'feel sorry for me luvs".

It never ceases to amaze me how happy dogs can always be no matter what obstacles life throws at them. I think humans can learn a thing or two from a Lab hey!

Lucky is a gorgeous, beautiful soul. Her eyes are just amazing and her happy smile shows how much she is loved and cared for.
