I am reading an article on clicker training for de-sensitization and the author who is a well known clicket trainer, mentions loading the clicker but doesn't explain what that means... Does anyone know? Thanks

As an aside, I don't normally bother 'loading the clicker'. I just start clicking and treating for behaviours I want - most dogs figure out pretty darn quick that click = treat

ahhhh it means the same as CHARGING the clicker...got it now! I have always read and seen "charging the clicker" not loading :
