It's been tough on the all new car dealerships. Over that past 10 years or so I noticed new dealerships were springing up all over. They weren't cheap little shacks either. I wondered why they would open two dealers sellling the same brands just a few miles apart.
I guess the forced closings were just what some dealership owner's needed. It's tough to throw in the towel and lay-off a boatload on employees on your own when your suffering. Perhaps that's why your uncle is happy. More likely relieved.
