Plus it is full of preservatives, sodium, and other questionable things. Fresh, whole food is so much better. You could have a tuna salad w/w pita with lettuce, veg sticks and a yogurt with a few raw almonds for under the cals of that lean cuisine, and it would stay with you lots longer =) (and be MUCH healthier for you)

lean cuisine taught me portion control. i used that information to transition to regular food. it's crappy food, but it was just a step i needed.

LCs for lunch suffer from the three-bites-and-yer-done-til-dinner syndrome.

They actually stick with me all afternoon, but it depends on which variety. Plus, I have time to grab a LC from the freezer on my way out the door in the morning. Tuna salad on a pita etc... not so much.

True. They are convenient. Probably their only advantage...

I pack my lunch the night before while packing the kid's =)

I also *try* to wash & portion veggies like carrot sticks, celery, cucumbers, red peppers, broccoli, etc when I buy them so I can just grab & go. That helps a lot.

I heart lean cuisine lunches (the Weight Watchers Smart Ones pot roast is only 3 points mmmm) and I find there is plenty in there for me...

I make my lunch every night, too. Keeps time spent in the morning on a short schedule. No way could I survive all day on a lean cuisine, but I'm also at work longer than most people (10 hour days) so I need a couple snacks thrown in, anyway.

T, what do you keep your veggies and fruits cut up in? I was just curious, you say you portion them out. I need to start making my the day before, that way I can take egg salad or make a leafy salad. Chloe was excited to take watermelon this morning, omg it was sooooo good!!!
