Just returned for a short ski trip to Lake Tahoe/Heavenly Valley. Saturday night a storm dumped about 12" on the mountain. I went up Sunday morning to ski an intermediate run but found out that I can't ski deep powder. I ended up WALKING 3/4 the way down the mountain before I got to a groomed slope I could ski. Monday was sunny and beautiful and I went to a different lift where they had groomed the intermediate runs from the top. On the way down I shot these two photos. Had a great time. The views coming down are spectacular.
