Mom drove off the side of the the road, clipped a mailbox and ended up in a ditch. She walked away from it, refused to go the the ER. I took her to the ER about three hours later. Big bruises both arms from the air bag going off. Pain in the neck maybe from the seat belt.
Appears she will be be admitted for observation

She is home. Will be a bit sore for a while. Cat scan revealed she had a "significant" stroke sometime back in the mists of time. Doctor said it was remarkable only because she shows no outward sign of having had one. Still no answer to why she ran off the road. .
Worst part is she is very independent. Insurance will probably cancel. It will be very expensive for her to replace the insurance. The car may require extensive repair. May 10 she appears in traffic court. Possible she could lose her license. Having to depend on others for transportation will be quite a blow to her.
