Vet says the wound looks great.. now the fluid is leaking out the holes were the staples and stitches were.. but she said it may do that for a few days..

koda can be cone-free while at home with me.. back in the cone when i'm at work.. she doesn't think she can do much damage .. but we'll take the cautious route for now.

She's back in her crate.. but she's naked and happy.

Oh.. and we're retiring the sling too! (for now) !!

Thank you everyone for your well wishes.. it's nice to reach a milestone.. any milestone really.. we'll go back in 2 weeks for another exam.

Look ma! No cone!

Well, she wasn't sure.. neither am i.. it's hard to tell because now it's more lemon shaped, it was pretty round before.. so it could just be shifting.. she did say she wasn't convinced it was joint fluid.. she said there could be some in there, but it seems too watery to be all joint fluid.. and that's a good thing.

When i came home to pick her up.. i bent down to lift her into the truck.. she decided to jump.. her head and my nose met halfway.

OMG! The stars! The language! The lump on my nose!

I just heard about Koda today, and I'm mighty happy that Koda got a good report today!
Nice to meet you, as well!
