Ohh, the best time for BBW is January and July, when they bring out all the 'retired' fragrances for a special sale! You just have to come back again in a couple of months. :D

My favorite scent from BBW is Cool Citrus Basil.

I did pretty well.
As for B&BW, they had buy 2 get 1, or buy 3 get 2. My favourites are Warm Vanilla Sugar, Vanilla Noir & Coconut Lime Verbena, so I stocked WAY up. I also grabbed a bunch of coordinating purse sanitizers and my much beloved Japanese Cherry Blossom pump soaps for the bathrooms.

VS I got an old favourite, Dream Angels Heavenly perfume mist... so light & gorgeous, perfect for summer. My sister picked up a bottle for my birthday too as it was on sale. I also bought one of the newest scents that is also sheer and just amazing, Cashmere - Vanilla Jasmine. Goes very well with my B&BW WVS body products.

I also bought some pretty things to wear there ;)

Pretty good deals all around, especially Macy's on Saturday! And Target, lots of things for the kids. How I love Target and Kohls for kids basics! ooh, and I stocked up on my Pureology haircare too, love it so much.

I will be back, we usually go a few times a year.

FUN! I haven't been down in years... would love to go sometime soon. What did you get at the duty-free? lol!

My friend bought me some Black Raspberry Vanilla body lotion at BBW recently, I love it! Someone else recently gave me the Sweat Pea hand soap pump for a hostess gift, which I thought was super nice!

I have to be careful about the fragrances I use, because many of them aggravate my asthma. BBW has a ton that I love, but only a few I can use. :( Any of the musky or very flowery ones just kill me. I found a clove candle there that I really love.

At BB&W semi-annual clearance sale last summer, I stocked up on body wash. I spent around $75 over 3 different trips. (Had coupons each time for so much off if I spent $25.) I could have pretty much started my own store. It's almost been a year and I don't know if I've used HALF of what I bought.

Jason didn't realize where I had stored it all and a few months ago he ran across it. He was pretty stunned at the size of my 'warehouse'.

So anyway, I do highly recommend their semi-annual clearance sales! =)

Sounds fun!! I love BBW - I could spend hours in there smelling everything (and then paying for it later lol).

Pureology is such nice stuff for hair. That's what my Mom uses on her hair, I really like it :)

Southern Maine really does have better shopping. Yet, Bangor has gotten much better over the past decade or so. And I think the "new" Bean's outlet is terrific!

If you girls come to town, you must let me know! I will shoot in and meet you for a beverage...adult or otherwise. ;)

I will let you know for sure next trip! =)

I love the Bean outlet! Not like Freeport, of course, but better than nothing. Every summer growing up, Bangor used to be "rest stop" for us on the way to Boston (where my Dad is from). New Hampshire as well (Santa's Village!!, and the White Mountains.
But as I got older, my own trips were for shopping rather than visiting relatives. As Bangor's shopping got a bit better, it became a destination. Straight 8 hr drive and lots of stores to fill 2 days.

My favourite is still the outlets; Freeport, Kittery, Portland, North Conway, etc, with an overnight in Bangor, but that's more of a 4-5 day excursion. I am told that Presque Isle is becoming quite the happening spot now, is that so?
