While there I weighed him ( Just over 34kg ) and looking at the weight chart it says ideal weight adult male Labrador 30kg !

I suppose that they set an average but I was quite pleased with his weight :shocked:

Way to go Jasper! Colin, if his body condition looks good, then his weight is good for him.

30kg is only 66lbs. Henry is almost 72lbs (32.6kg) and Ollie is 84lbs (38kg) and both of them wear their weight well.

Good for Jasper. 30 kg sounds awfully small for the "average" adult male lab. But then again, I live with the Monster Lab: Toby is 54 kg and that's the right weight for his height and overall size (of course, he's WAY out of breed standard).

Wow.. Kolby is about 67 lbs, which is just a smidge about 30kg. He's definitely not built like a show-type Lab, but he looks good at his weight.

Lasttime I took Jed to [email protected]ome we jumped him up on the scales and he was 31.5kg and like you said it read he should be 30kg on the chart.

I always think Jed looks a lttle pudgy but it maybe because i'm comparing him to Jasmine who is like a whippet with a figure to match.

Glad it went well. As long as he looks good and no health problems. My vet says you have to see a waist and feel the first ribs.

I have a problem keeping weight on Ernie and would love him to be 30kilos. He standard height and ranges between 24 and 26 kilos. Way too thin, but vets say he looks good, so guess it is in the eye of the beholder.
