Yes, I was there for three hours as a 'working interview.'
I learned some coding, entered several different patient's procedures into the computer system, called insurance for one person to get all that was covered, frequencies and limitations, etc., and basically got overloaded with information.
As far as Megan (the girl I interviewed/worked with today) is concerned, I have the job.

But, I still have to get the final word from the main office and the woman I interviewed with on Saturday. I do not think she called my old boss for a reference, although he would give me a glowing one. He would have let me know if she had called him.
It's something I can do, and do well. I'd be doing the billing and accounts, and insurances. Some phone answering, but there is another woman there who would be first on the phones. I'd have a week of training, mainly to learn therminology, procedures (so I can understand the billing, etc.), and the computer systems.
Just my luck, I'll start training next week and have to work on my birthday! If they do ask me to start Monday, do you think I could ask to get out a little early that day because we have dinner reservations?
