Ok, forgive me if this is a stupid question but I just got my first ipod a few weeks ago.
My sister put a whole bunch of music on it for me. Some of it appears in itunes with the song name and artist info and some just comes up as "track number whatever". Is there a way for me to name the track number ones myself?

Yes there is - you have to do it on the computer that has the software on it - and that's all I know about it - but I have done it...quite a while ago!-

Single-click the song title in your library, right ON the name. This may take some fishing around because you're asking the system to enable rename mode, not play mode. Once the name is hi-lited w/a li'l cursor, you're good to go. That should enble you to change the filename.

i can give you better instructions when i get home, but there is an option in the itunes menu bar that will search and update the track information for you.
