Bonnie's gone this week so I'm throwing hay to the herd twice a day. Plus, I grain Dot and Lady in the evening. The wind is gusting to near 36 or above. It's gone beyond cold to **** cold. Like the horses, I stand and wait while the two old girls finish their grain with my back to the wind. How do I stay warm?

We had a pretty sunset this evening too.

You looked like you are bundled up but good.

Why do only 2 of the horses get grain?

At least you had sun...thanks for posting the picture it has been so long since I have seen it I forgot what it looked like.

We don't believe in graining. Dot and Lady are the oldest and since they both need supplements, it goes in a small amount of grain for them.

Nope. I'm keeping an eye on his feet, but he should be getting everything he needs now from the hay. I'm giving Dot the rest of his hoof stuff.
