Tornado warnings, heavy winds and rains- moved in and out in less then an hour, we're used to storms lasting days!!!:D But maybe not this intense! These are the beginning!

It can get a little bare but we have skiing and snowboarding of some sort all year round. It's also one of the places the US ski team practice's during the summer months.:) It is quite beautiful and I love our view- I would just like one looking from the other side of the mountain where it is much, much dryer:D

Seriously!!:eek::eek: sometimes I forget how spoiled we are- mountains everywhere- and the Ocean only 90 miles away:)
I'm smack dab in the middle of missouri.

Shane and I plan on moving to one of the coasts when we can afford it and finally agree on a state...

He likes it cold, I like it hot. He's degree is in computer sciences and I want a place where I can easily get to the beach to take up surfing, but I also want mountains nearby so I can snowboard as well. :p

And neither of us want to be in California.

I dont' know the East coast at all, but remember if your not in California on the West coast you'll most likely be surfing in dry/wet suits year round!! The water is way cold- but we have great waves, and the weather is usually cooler so shane should like that! The only thing I think I know about the east coast, is unless there is a storm coming in, the waves suck:D I could be wrong about that also:confused:

The statement, Don't let the "Leaving Newbrassky" sign his you in the arse on the way out has been used by more folks than me.

What, or where, is the other side of the mountain?

Actually we're looking at proberty in central/ Eastern Oregon- even Eastern Washington. May lose our mountain view, but in central Oregon you have the Sisters and Mt. Bachlor which are beautiful in their own right! Lots of options and opportunities right now. They also have lots of thunderstorms over there :D
