that Calli could've gone through heat and I didnt know it? I know that sounds wierd, but she is my first female, so I really dont know.

I always thought the signs were pretty obvious.

The only real reason to ask this I guess is because last month we had a few stray dogs running around up here. (none that ever came near us, just outside) And Calli seemed to clean herself quite a bit. I didnt notice any swelling, or bleeding. She has been shedding (but I dont really think labs ever stop ;) ) quite a bit.

I will still keep watching for anything, and I guess if all else fails I could take her to the vet. Surely he would know if she has right? Anyway TIA for any advice.

Bogey would have noticed. And she would probably be more clingy than usual.

With all the new "cleaning", she may be thinking of coming in, or she may have a UTI. How old is she?
She is 7 months, give or take a few days. And the cleaning has since stopped (not altogether, just not as much). I did talk to her breeder and she said between 6 months to a year for her. Which is a bit vauge :whatever: .

The very earliest any of mine have gone into heat is 8 mos but most wait until 12 mos. Rosa was 18 mos old before she blessed me.

Look at her vulva. Is it still a "baby"? It will swell. Anne
