That is a great story.
My husband is a CASA worker (court appointed special advocate) He is sometimes the only one who is on the kids' side. At least that is how the kids feel. And when they "age out" of the system they come back and tell him how much he meant to them. They don't always tell him that at the time because they don't know it at the time. Anyway......
