I got it for free. Well almost, got a substantial tax return back so I bought it out of that. Grand total with the extras I got with it .......... $2,700 I must be insane!
Ah THAT! Been there, done that. Just didn't know I'd "calibrated" it.Calibrating a monitor is important, especially with photos and for video/tv/movie viewing. Basically when you buy a monitor out of the box it needs to be tuned so the colours are as close to real-life as possible. Rarely is a monitor pre-calibrated for you.. google it.
