Trying to make the horse spook under controlled conditions. I waved the noodle around his head, while he was in a halter and then when he stopped, I let him know he was a good boy. By the end of the session, I was lightly bopping him with it between his ears and he stood firm. I then touched his sides, his belly, his legs, etc. with it and everytime he stopped moving or reacting, he got praised. Finally I was tossing it lightly at his back legs and he didn't react.
Thanks for the links Laura - I read the first one and thought it really cool that the horse sacked her back with the blanket. I didn't know any of this stuff.
Shoulda done it with Harper - still spooked by plastic bags - LOL
