Bauer had a histiocytoma on his ear that just kept getting bigger and bigger. The vet had already done an aspiration and knew it was't cancerous.

It started to bother him, and he was scratching at it and it was bleeding frequently so I decided to have it removed. Went to the vet, and he agreed that it should come off. He zipped it off with a laser, and Bauer really didn't seem bothered by it. Went to pay, and the receptionist said, "That will be $30." $30? $30? I told her that $30 couldn't be right. She said, "He said not to charge you for the surgery because Bauer was such a good boy." I only had to pay for an office visit. What a sweet man!

He is great! I first started going to him when my golden got sick. I was at my regular vet's office, and he just didn't seem to care and wanted me to come back the following week. This was on Good Friday 2 years ago. On the way home, I passed my current vet's office and stopped. He dropped everything, and spent a lot of time with us. He gave me enough medication to keep him comfortable over the weekend, and called twice a day (even on Easter Sunday) to make sure everything was fine. Reggie had bone cancer, and got worse very quickly. He was right there at the end, and was very honest about his prognosis. He truly is a great vet!
