The funeral home called an hour ago. Tud's ashes were ready to bring home. I thanked the woman, said I'd be out in a little while. Hung up the phone and immediately thought:

"No Wait! I'm not through having the house all to myself yet! If I bring him home now he'll be watching me!"

You think crazy thoughts at times like this. I slapped myself and went to get him. He's on the mantle beside Paddy now.

Nance, just turn the urn/box the other way when you don't want him watching. ;)

Glad you have him home, now there is a bit more closure. ((((Nance))))

He was already watching Nance! You do think and feel weird things at this time. Don't worry too much, Paddy will keep him in line up there on the mantle!

Someday you'll find his box/urn leaning on the TV remote, flipping channels. And you'll know that all is right with the world!

You have the best sense of humor. Glad Tud is back with You and the pups. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Keep taking those baby steps.
