It seems like forever since I had the day off! I've been working weekends and evenings this past month so I could pay my college bill and save some money for Vegas. Working split shifts and weekends gets really exhausting! Plus I miss my kids!

Today I'm taking a me day, to recharge my batteries. I'm gonna tidy the house, crank the music, do a little shopping for spring clothes, and then take the kids out to dinner and a movie tonight for some kid/mom time.

Vegas plans are finalized. I found a great deal at Treasure Island. I got 4th row tickets at "Love". And my plane doesnt leave till Mon night so Ill have 3 full days there. I'm very excited about that.

I need to catch up with you all and read JL. I just pop in here and there when I have a minute.

Lindsay, I'm so glad I could stay at some place a little nicer than the Imperial. I hope its going to be warm there. I'm tired of snow. I need to google and find out the weather in April there.

Its only until March 15th. Then I go back to just days (while the boys are in school). I could never do this permantely. My boys come first. I just wanted to pay my college bill without using a credit card.

I'm growing my hair out. I just had to cut off my mistake of a perm.

Yeah... I suggested Imperial cause you sounded like you wanted a deal that was near to Mirage.

In my experience... other than sleeping in the room, the only other important factor when picking your hotel other than location is what the pool situation is. That's why I always stay at the Mirage... I love their pool and cabanas. Otherwise, all other parts of the hotels are accessible to anyone. So if pool isn't important (which it isn't if it's too cold or not a pool person)... then room/location

I hope you get to see the Fremont Street Experience downtown while you are in Vegas. It's really neat, especially because they turn off all the outside casino lights for it.
