The lesion on my Dad's kidney is malignant.
He will have surgery to remove his entire kidney in the next couple weeks. And depending on how advanced it is (ie.they will biopsy lymph nodes as well), the surgery may be only the beginning.

He's being the typical Dad: putting on the brave front that everything is going to be ok. I know he's scared though, you can see it in his expressions. My Mom is being so amazing, because I know it's even harder now to see someone you love go through it after being through it yourself.

Me...I think I'm still numb. I just can't believe less than 2 years after 1 parent is diagnosed....the other one is too.

Something that's keeping me giggling through the past couple days...is my Mom and Dad "arguing" (aka.joking) about who's going to have a bigger scar and who will have the most "pin-cushion" like arms.:rolleyes:

Aw Kimmers, I'm sorry to hear this. Mom came through OK and so will Dad, I know it. Prayers........

Sorry to hear it, but attitude means a lot and it sounds like they've got plenty of that.
