Misha has been very itchy for the last 3 weeks. Vet checked her and found nothing (fleas or any bug).

I gave her a bath last sunday and now it is worse, and I rinsed her thoroughly so I´m sure it´s not shampoo leftover.

I haven´t changed her diet or anything so I don´t think it´s allergy. Any ideas or suggestions? Poor girl even twitches when I touch her rear...

She also started blowing off her coat...

It could be seasonal allergies. My golden has severe itchies in the spring & summer from the pollen and grass.

Or...how are the mosquitos by you? They are just vicious here and I know both my furkids are getting bit.

Abbey will randomly get itchy for a few days and a little bit of Benadryl for a couple of days normally clears it up. This spring hasn't been bad, so I haven't had to use it, but last year I used it quite a bit, per the vet's recommendation.

It worked very well for her, so maybe call the vet back up and see if he/she would recommend a dosage of Benadryl for a couple days?

Vet thinks it could be either seasonal allergy or caused by the shedding. We inspected her fur and could not find any insect bites.

He suggested giving the Benadryl, but I was hesitant because last time I had Bendryl it made me extremely dizzy and didn´t want her to be all groggy, but if it helps I guess I´ll do it.
