If anyone is interested here is a look at our Hwy of Heroes. Four Canadian soliders will have travelled this hwy in less than a week. I have had the honor of attending the bridge on several occasions
No matter how many times I see it on the news or online- it gets to me every time.
Unfortunately, it'll be happening again this week (or next) as we lost another solider over the weekend. He was from Mississauga. So I'm guessing a lot of his friends and family will be making the trip to stand in honor of him.
I was wrong our lastest soldier to come home will here tomorrow, hoping I can get out of work early to make it to the bridge in time They usually pass by around 4:30
On a related note, did anyone else listen to Cross-Country Checkup on Sunday? Excellent discussion (and call-in) about Canada's role in Afganistan.
