Nance!!! Take notes for your next DYI project! This is phase one of many.

We are replacing the shower walls in the bathroom. Some tiles came loose, and we discovered water damage behind the wall. :-(

Damaged greenboard

Rotting studs

Must have leather gloves, dust mask, eye protection, and "do rag" to keep yucky stuff off your head. Nance??? You still taking notes???

Tile and wall removed.... ugh....

After the water and termite damage we had in our laundry room and living room a year ago, I can't even look at these pictures without being sick. I feel for you. Good luck.

We just did the same thing- what a flipping mess- but looks so nice now! Good luck, it will be well worth it all!

I did that. Didn't have the water damage, but tore out the existing tile and tub and installed a big shower instead.

Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see it finished!
