Temp's on an elevator here. Mid 60s today. Mid-70s tomorrow. By the weekend, we're into the 80s. Possibly close to 90 for Monday.

<<singing>> We're having a heat wave.... a tropical heat wave........

Same here!! I should be happy but when it gets that warm outside it's 90 in this office!!!
UGH!!
It's been in the 90's here for a couple of days. The car showed over a 100 a couple of times. When you spend the whole winter complaining about the cold, it's easy to forget how bad hot and humid is.

It's our first test this year of the no air conditioner rule. The dogs voted yes but it turns out they've been disenfranchised.
It's supposed to be 86 on Friday but temps back down after that. I'm not ready for 80+ yet. If the house goes above 75 the a/c is coming on.

Ditto. I would love for it to stay cold!
Here too. Hope the humidity stays away.

Dan I saw this forecast on Good Day Philadelphia this morning. I looked sort of like this

Now I am debating.. A/C or no A/C for the weekend? I really don't want to, as my electric bills are just starting to come down from the winter. (I have electric base board heat, so winter time bills are ugly!!!)

I think it will depend on how long our "tropical heat wave" will last. Just a day or two & I might just opt to suck it up & deal with it. That is why I have ceiling fans in every room. More than a day or two, A/C might be going on.

We'll probably muddle thru with a fan or two...

It WILL be nice, however, to hop out of bed in the AMs and get onto Wesley's walk without having to don 295 layers to stay warm.
We still have pockets of snow on the north slopes. Weird.
We just had a few days of upper 70's low 80's and it was wonderful!! For me the hotter the better. DH was actually talking about turning the AC on yesterday- talk about the "stink eye", he just looked at me and said its "cooler in the garage" "I'll go mess around in there"- smart man!! Just so you don't feel to bad for him, he loves his gargage, all his woodworking stuff is there, he has a TV and a Radio, and a frig, so he wasn't roughing it! Today its back into the 60's and cloudy:(

It's not a garage it's called a "Man Cave". I have a woodstove, stereo and TV in my garage.......oooops "Man Cave" . I spend hours out there year round, just me and the hounds.
It just got done snowing here! And yes, then it's going into the 80's for the weekend. I foresee violent thunderstorms next week when it cools down.
FREAKIN' BUGS are out!
We had the bug zapper going on the front deck. Man, that thing was smokin' em. We had over 100 degrees for 2 days and now it's only 53 Wednesday. What a change.

Dan, I know what you mean!!! It is so nice this time of year to be able to walk Lexi without dressing in all those layers. Though since Santa left me Under Armour Cold Gear for Christmas, I was able to shave my layers down to just 250 even on the coldest mornings. ;)
Amen.

Under Armour saved me more than once this past winter. Of course, it takes 10 minutes to shimmy into the things!
