One of my neighbors has a 7-8 month old Lab mix (Lewis) who I posted about a while ago with pictures.
He spent the night with me the other night and we were doing some tricks. I asked him to sit and he didn't do it right away, so I gently put a little bit of pressure on his lower back. Not much pressure at all, like I did with Abbey when she was a pup... And as he was going into his sit, it sounded like his hip or something back there made a popping noise..?
It happened again when he was getting up from laying down.
I told her about it immediately and said she needs to take him to the vet.
I know popping is NEVER a good thing.. but could it be hip dysplasia, even at his age?
