I just got my first Chocolate lab 3 weeks ago. My first puppy but I grew up with labs. I have recently started simple obedience training. She has been learning quickly but here recently she has just kind of stopped listening to me. I reading through the book " Power of positive dog training" for the basic , sit, stay, come , down and heel commands. I am in the process of acquiring the book "tri-tronic retiever". I plan to hunt both dove and ducks with this pup. If you have any advice please let me know. This is one of my first forums.
