I've been reading for quite a while now (lurking I suppose) and posting a little bit - but I haven't introduced myself - and maybe that's the problem? The only place that anyone has answered me or "talked" to me at all was on the thread where I was asking about the RAW diets. (That was REALLY helpful!) I'm really starting to get my feelings hurt - so maybe it's just because I haven't introduced myself formally - so here we go.
I'm in middle-Tennessee. About 3 years ago I lost my boy, Benny, my first lab who was a chocolate and the light of our lives! He was 13. His spirit still lives with us - as do the following family members:
Coco - a chocolate female who's 12 years old.
Gabby (short for Gabriel) - a black male - about 3 years old that we got from a rescue group.
Ella J. Mutt - a very, VERY old basset hound female who showed up one day and stayed!
LeStat - a grey calico female kitty - 17 years old who tolerates them all.
Plus my neighbor's two great danes (a male and female) come to my home every day to visit, play and have dinner (they knock on my back door).
That's my crew! They're wonderful and make our lives joyful! We're also in the process of adopting a child - who will obviously learn to love animals like I do (I hope!)
That's it for now! I've really learned much more than I thought I would since being here... Hi to All!!! ;D
