I was just about to go in the house after walking Frankie, and a neighbor driving by stops at my driveway. She yelled to me "WOW! Your flowers and gardens are absolutely beautiful!!! I stopped this morning and peeked. Gorgeous!! Really suits your house, makes it look so 'cottagey'.".

That was really nice to hear from someone I barely know.

I meant to add....I don't even think it looks as nice as it has in past years. My impatiens in the front garden are just now coming back after being attacked by deer. The annuals in my sidewalk garden are just coming back after being waterlogged by the rain. Black-eyed Susans aren't even bloomed yet, and the Russian Sage I just planted is still immature! Bee Balm looks cool though.
