So with everything that's been happening in London with the G20 conference, apparently there's one matter that's more important than anything else. Wait for it ................ MICHELLE OBAMA DOESN'T CARRY A HANDBAG! OMG! THAT'S AWFUL!

While the first lady was asked if she would have tea, it turn out the burning question on the minds of British women was why Michelle Obama ever carries a handbag, according to CBS News correspondent Sheila MacVicar.

After all, Britain's Queen would never be caught without one. She even matches her handbags to her tiaras. Then there's Britain’s formidable former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, who was known to “handbag” political opponents, taking a proverbial swing at all challengers. And of course there was the always elegant icon, Princess Diana.

The British are never dressed unless they're toting a bag. How, they ask, can she get on and off a plane without one?

At her husband’s side Wednesday evening as they met Queen Elizabeth, both women were true to style. One with bag, one without.

A “cultural” divide that, like so much about this woman, fascinates the British public.

And the most puzzling aspect of this? Well according to our tv, it's .......... where does she keep her lipstick?

For god's sake peoples, with all the other crap facing the world right now, is this the most important thing you have to worry about? Grow up PLEASE!

Yeah the shock horror stories just get worse don't they? :D

That ranks up there with ex Aussie prime minister, Paul Keating who dared put his hand on the queens shoulder in 1992. The British media dubbed him "the lizard of Oz" :D

So they're discussing cultural differences between countries. That's so upsetting?

Geezus, all we've heard in this country lately is how great Michelle's arms are. Which they are, but you could certainly argue it's a waste of time. But not everything can be serious news all the time. Anybody really interested in discussing the economy and North Korea/Iran/Pakistan/Whatever 24 hours a day? If you're not then you're going to have to make time for handbags and arms.
