This happened a few months back, but now that I've figured out how to insert pictures and remembered that I do have an account, I have to share. Piper has been a great dog with chewing for the most part. She pretty much uses her nylabone exclusively and is crated when we are not home.

Well one day I was on the phone and Piper went into the other room. I heard her chewing on her nylabone, ha, ha, ha, she fooled me. Sunglasses sound just like nylabone, crunch, crunch. I had to take a picture of the evidence. They were those huge clown sunglasses and this is what was left. Needless to say 11yr old daughter was quite upset when she got home. I reminded her I had asked her to pick them up before she went to school. Daughter was quite disgusted to report the glasses started passing through later that night. The next day Piper hurked the rest up on the floor.

Piper could have been hurt from swallowed sharp pieces. The picture looks like most is still there, and hope the rest is safely out of Piper one way or the other.

She never got to model these for the camera. We have many other photos of various costumes though, smaller sunglasses, tiaras, bathrobes, LOL!

Yes, anytime she eats something she shouldn't I worry about it passing. We've been very diligent and this is the first major ingestion. It has been a few months ago, so I think we are OK. She is not allowed in the yard alone because she does try to eat stuff she shouldn't, sticks, leaves, rocks.
