Our 3rd ride. She's doing much better, and so am I!!! I'm feeling much more confident on her. She's moving out a bit better and starting to flex a bit more through her neck, ribs and poll.

Working on bending her neck and ribs here, turning her into my leg.

Trying to push her haunches over, my leg is further back on her here.

Backing Up, nice flexion in her poll, but she's evading the bit.

The End... just a relaxing walk after we were done.

She was swishing her tail during the backup. Normally she doesn't, but there were deer flies on us! She was not happy. The fly spray doesn't deter them too much. Normally she'll put her head down and back up quite well, except for her mouthing the bit.

Her buddy is in the barn when I ride. They "talk" back and forth though! Neighing to beat the band at times!!

My mom is taking the photos. She's trying to learn to use my camera. Bless her heart, she's really working on it, trying to keep the horizon level and get good composition. I think she's doing a good job!
