because her girls are camping with the grandparents and won't be back till tomorrow. (I think they only left last night.)

I've been shipping my kid hither and yon all summer! Two nights... I'd just be happy to be able to eat at whatever restaurants we liked and watch R-rated movies.

Hmmm..... guess I'm not up for Mother of the Year.

I always looked forward to getting a break from the kids. It's a beautiful thing. Doesn't mean you love 'em any less.

Sometimes I'm so stressed out that I'd gladly hand over the kids for awhile to anyone who asks. LOL.

There is a difference between missing your kids and missing your kids so much that you cant enjoy your alone time.

We send Ben for sleepovers at the IL's on average about twice a month. I love those nights! Getting together with friends, having drinks, staying up late and sleeping in! I miss him, but not enough to not enjoy myself, and I'm guessing he feels the same way!
