I didn't know this.. but you can buy applecare off ebay for a fraction of what apple charges.. Canadians pay $399 and yanks pay $350 I believe (wow.. something that actually works in our favour..) but you can get it for half that on ebay. Legit.

This place sells it too.. possibly cheaper than ebay...

I'm not sure.. but what a freaking difference.. i had no idea third-parties could sell it.. but they can.. i would have never known.

Not sure if this applies, but university or college computer/book stores can sell Apple products at higher-education discounts (Apple still dictates the selling price though).
