The recommended amount is approx. 2% of the dog's adult weight. You can find calculators that tell you how much to feed http://raw4dogs.com/calculate.htm
My 2 yr female packed on a few pounds after I switched her and I was feeding less than 2% of her weight. She now weights about 68lbs and eats less than a pound per day. It all depends on your dog's activity and his/her digesting system. I would read through the posts on this board which will give you a better idea. When you switch, watch his waistline ;D as it is quite difficult to take those pounds off :police:

Actually I would love it if Rico COULD gain weight... LoL but if I overfeed him it just comes out as more poo, so... :p

With raw there is definitely not going to be more p**p :p This is one of the best features that we enjoy as owners of "raw dogs".
