Hope the pilot is safe.

I saw one of those fly last weekend. There was one at Luke AFB Days Flight show. I didn't know what is was. I was out on the Friday before the show and they were practicing. I ask the guys standing around with me by the BX parking garage what is was and a voice in the back said "it's an F-22. I knew one was going to be there because of an article in the Phoenix newspaper. But the guy who told me was part of the flight crew for the Thunderbirds. He said the day before when it flew in was the first time they had seen it in the air. They had been eating lunch at the food court and game out to watch it fly as they knew the practice schedule.

Cool! Ken & I got to touch one and look in the cockpit when we were at Nellis in January. Got to see a couple on the flight line, too.

The TBird pilots have seen a few on the flightline, tho- they're home base is Nellis. ;)

We were really hoping the pilot had ejected safely.
