I couldn't help but think about your experience with your Accounting(?) instructor.

I teach several classes online and always try to have everything lined up so students can get timely feedback. So things that need grading by hand (labs, short answer questions, etc) I have been grading and thinking students were able to see their results and compare with the correct answers.

That is, until I got an email from a student today asking when they could get feedback on their work  When I looked, I had somehow missed re-setting the date so that they could see their graded work. Needless to say, I was a bit embarrassed, and I hated it foir them because I thought all this time I had things all set. HA!

Anyway, I fixed the problem, emailed the class, and all is well now. I thought you might get a kick outta this little gaffe of mine.

:D

At least you can admit the mistake... AND fix it!

Oh and it was my finance professor... my accounting professor is very on the ball.
Well, I try. I think it is good for students to realize that everyone makes mistakes, and it is how you handle it that is the important thing! What some seem to fail to realize is that there is no shame in making a mistake. The shame is not acknowleding it and correcting it!

Well, I had a 50/50 chance of getting whether it was finance or accounting. Now you know why I don't frequent casinos! lol
