I can hide it better in a pot of stew! JK, I think possum is the one thing I've never eaten in my life. Groundhog, yes, squirrel, yes, rabbits, yes, rattlesnake, yes, alligator, yes, bears, yes, but no possums!
Me neither, have thought about it a few times, just to try it.

Needs parboiled though to remove a lot of the fat. And they say it's still a bit greasy.;)

Been told possum is kinda like a cross 'tween duck and squirrel, as in like a really greasy squirrel.

What really turns me off on them is they're a carrion eater and I also wouln't eat a Turkey Vulture for the same reason.:p

If we ain't spossed to eat animals, why then are they made of meat?:D

Now quit that. Those sweet little animals may EAT sweet taters but you don't EAT them with taters. I had a possum that would come every night to be fed. This went on for almost 3 years and then it disappeared. Prolly died.:( They are opportunistic eaters eating just about anything especially dead things.

That is a joke, I've seen it before.
