This is Echo less than 18 hours after she was spayed. I was surprised how quickly she has bounced back. She has a problem licking the stitches so unfortunately she has to wear an Elizabethan collar. She is gradually getting use to it though. Amber is keeping a close eye on her but we fear she may have to wear one too as she keeps trying to lick Echo's stitches. A firm no is working but you can't keep an eye on them all the time.

Oh, look at that beautiful face! :) Wouldn't it be nice if we could make them understand that the E-collar is only temporary..... :)

Echo is soo cute! I remember when Trooper was fixed, he shredded his e-collar. I guess he was trying to tell me what he thought about it.
Hoping for a super fast recovery!

Thank you for your kind words. It is extremely hot here at the moment and the children are busy thinking of ways of turning her E-collar into a sunhat!

In the meantime Amber is sunbathing with her.
