So I got a gift card as an early gift. I bought a wrought iron lantern, some vanilla soy candles, put some stones in the bottom, and it will go in the deck. I could put more candles in it, but the metal gets pretty hot with more than 2.

I like it so much, I may buy another! =)


It's actually quite large, the bigger candle is 6 inches, for scale.

I got the lantern at the garden centre of our local big chain grocery store, Superstore. I think they are fairly common though. I bought the candles & stones in a different section of the same store, they didn't come together. Again though, common items. you really could put anything you like in them... citronellas to keep the bugs away, etc. =)

That is really pretty!! Hmm that would look nice hanging outside on our patio. I'll have to look around. I wonder if our garden center has something like that. I bet even like walmart in the garden section.
