So I took Claire, DW#2, to the audition for that local community theater production of "Fiddler on the Roof," running this summer.

She was really cute. Very excited. Had practiced her song ("A Whole New World" from Aladdin) and wore her dance togs.

I didn't get to watch her audition, as we were separated early on and didn't catch up w/each other until later in the evening.

She made the chorus. Which will be a great introduction to her for this kind of thing. It's her first book-musical. She's done recital-type shows in the past through her dance studio, but never anything with a story arc.

First read-through is next Monday.

The calendar is going to be an absolute juggle. I'll have to step away from dog class for a while. Wes will miss his pals, but we'll be back after July.

Stopped shaving this morning. Tevye needs a beard.

And get this: Director has asked me already if I'd mind a costume that included some padding. HAH! How ironic is that??
