Does anyone use eye protection while dremeling their dogs nails?

Everytime I do Baloo's nails (almost once a week, those suckers grow fast!) I get nail shrapnel in my eyes.

I've tried squinting and changing my dremel angle, but still it happens.

Any ideas for eye protection? I feel silly buying protective goggles for doing my dog's nails.... but I fear it may have to come to that.

I wear eyeglasses anyways. But I wonder about the inhaled nail dust!

Pick up a pair of sunglasses with large lenses, find a friend that works in a manufacturing company where they have to wear eye protection and have him steal a pair of safety glasses for you. They are cheaper clear plastic 'glasses' with the lens wrapping around the side.

You can get them for that cheap? Oh! I think I'll have to pick some up. ;)

I've never bought them before, just assumed they'd be way more expensive.

I have never thought about getting it in my eyes, I am too busy trying to figure out how to plug my nose. The smell makes me sick!
