Bailey is starting to have alot of build up on her teeth(she doesn't chew bones) and my vet recommend that she go on tis food to clean it up. Anyone feed it or hear good or bad about it?

We give those as treats at the clinic I work at. I don't know anyone who feeds it as their sole diet, but there's a lot of clients that buy it for treats. It is a good food though.

I was going to suggest marrow bones too...

My parents' lhasa gets the Hill's as treats too, he gets two with each meal.

Do you find the food as a treat enough? Baiey gets it as a treat now but only one a day. I think I will increase it.
I don't buy Marrow bones because Buddy is unable to have them. I do buy the sertile one and bailey uses it more to tease Buddy then to chew it. when she does chew on it she doesn't use her back teeth like buddy.

Is the Hill's a dry food? I wouldn't feed it purely on ingredients alone BUT I really can't see how feeding kibble can help. The only way to remove plaque off the teeth is through surgical cleaning or by hard chewing -- chewing bones being the much cheaper and more pleasant option.
