At yesterday's regional competition in his first wave Duke's first jump was 14' 9" which, after the round one jumps, put him in first place in the Junior Division. Unfortunately on his second jump he recorded a jump of 15' 0" which moved him UP to LAST place in the Senior division. Poor guy did better and lost out. All he got was a ribbon as a Senior Division Qualifier.
In the second wave he recorded his best ever 16' 8" which again was out of the Senior Division medals but it did earn him a spot in the finals.
He ended the day with three senior division qualifications, one for each wave and one for making the finals and if he gets two more in the future he will earn a Regional Senior Title.
Of course Duke's opinion of his ribbons was, if you can't eat em what good are they.
