Do you have a friend who grew up in a cave?

I just posted on FB as one of my 5 movies that I can recite the dialogue from as Star Wars IV: A New Hope.

My best friend just posted "not the very first one? I would have thought episodes 1-3 would have made the list?"

Seriously? I bet she hasn't even seen it. I love her, but sometimes....

Oooooh...but does anyone remember Night Ranger's "Sister Christian"?
Bwahahahaha!

I've always liked Sade. Yeah, kind of boring, but her voice is sexy. That she's really, really, really, really (really) good looking helps, too.
I'm telling you Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!!

I LIKE that song!!!

I hear comedienne Kathy Griffin (brash red-head?) walked down the aisle to that song.

Gawd NO
Some group from the 80's I think, only seen the first 3 Star Wars here, do know what a slupee and a fajita is, but what we used to call thongs are now flip-flops and thongs don't go on yer feet no more.:D
Yup, this is me!
+1 for Sade from me, too.

Truly blech-worthy: <<any title>> Christopher Cross.

Talk about caterwauling.... Makes Spandau Ballet look like Sinatra!
You know you lived in the boonies when...

... your high school grad song was Whitesnake's "Here I Go Again"....

... and you graduated in '96.

LMAO!

There was a vote... and all the kids from the "smokers doors" showed up and hijacked the proceedings with that little gem. *sigh* You couldn't pay me to go to a rural high school again.... well, any high school really!
LMAO!

really! people kept telling me "you'll miss H.S. once you leave." yeah, i didn't get that memo. you couldn't pay me enough to go back.

Ditto. My cousin graduated about 3 years before me, the year after his graduation he tells me "You know how everyone says you're going to miss high school when you're out? THAT IS COMPLETE B.S!!"

He was so true. I graduated in 2000 and I haven't missed that place for one day!
GASP GASP!!!! I had their posters plastered all over my walls in the 80's AND in my locker!
"I know... this... much... issss.......

TRUE!!!!!!!!"

Worst. Song. Ever. As much as I hate the '80s hair metal bands, Spandau Ballet represents everything that was bad about music in the 1980s.
OMG I remember back in the day that I was going to see Power Station in concert (tell me if you remember them!) and the opening act was listed as Spandau ballet and I was SO ticked cuz I was NOT a fan.
Turned out they did not show and there was a change in opening acts and I think it was OMD who I enjoyed. ahhhh those were the days......
