I'm bad for that. I frequently crave Greek or Thai food, so nothing in my house will satisfy those cravings and I'm forced to order out.
The only Greek thing I have in my house now is Feta cheese.

Yep. Did you perchance buy any olives?
Nope, but if I did, they'd be gone in a flash.

We always go out to eat on grocery shopping day. I can't bear to look at any of it, and I think I should be rewarded for doing something even remotely domestic.

Isn't that the case for everybody? You just went shopping and there is nothing to eat. Nothing to eat means no chips, cookies, snacks or chocolate. I don't buy that stuff. The only time we have chips are if we are having a BBQ. I can't be trusted with chips and cookies in the house.

I do that a lot so over the past couple of years I try to just keep the little things around. Sides, condiments, snacks, frozen veggies. But I usually shop to eat. I normally have frozen chicken breasts from gordon's all the time in my freezer.
Otherwise I usually buy what I am going to cook that day or a day in advance. That way I am buying for what I am craving. Monday I was dying for grilled salmon. So that is what we had on Tuesday - along with grilled asparagus and roasted sweet potaters.

Anytime I go grocery shopping I get all excited that I FINALLY have choices in my kitchen of what to eat...

And then I can't decide... or nothing strikes me.... or I think of something I didn't get that now of course I want.

EVERY TIME

Does that mean that you have to go to the store everyday:confused: I would rather pull my fingernails out, I hate shopping!!

Ditto - there's no way I want to deal with the grocery every day, or the extra gas going there. I go every other week if I can stretch it out that far. But, I guess if there was a nice place close by, I might consider going more often.
