We have been feeding both Abbey and Coco 3 times a day, dividing their food equally at the feedings. We have them on Pinnacle Trout and Sweet Pototo due to some gastric upsets Coco had at 4 months. They love the food and are always eager eaters. Just in the past 2 weeks though they both seem to be hungry all the time. They just turned 8 months old this past week. Abbey is larger (56 lbs) and Coco is (49 lbs). Neither looks skinny but they are lean. They get moderate exercise (long park walks and neighborhood walks) and are otherwise healthy. It reminds me of some of the growth spurts my son had growing up. You just couldn't fill him up and he said he was hungry all the time. I was wondering if that happens with pups as they grow from 6-12 or maybe 18 months too. I am hoping some of the more experienced lab owners have some advise or suggestions. Thanks.

Yup, absolutely! Both of my labs continued growing and filling out until they were just about 3 years old. :)

What Kate said. EMD was a "late grower."

Harlee turned two in April and suddenly seems to be much leaner than before. I have always fed her the same amount, but she seems to be looking much lighter these days. I hope that means she is still growing and finally gets to the breed standard :)
